As you know we often use big chain restaurants. Their food’s materials are collected far away from all over the world to reduce the cost .
But they use a lot of fuel and exhaust much CO2.
In middle age our lifestyle was local grown and local consumed everywhere.
We Japanese like enjoying local foods when we travel. It’s a pleasure of traveling and eating both .
We enjoyed local UDON at OOHAMA restaurant in Chichibu area 1 hour 30 minutes from Tokyo.
This area’s soil is not good for rice planting, they have been growing wheat . So their main dish is UDON made from wheat.
It’s very crunchy and delicious!!
This dietary is good for health because these are natural and fresh , good for environment because don’t waste much fuel either exhaust CO2.
