Treehouse Cafe in the Heart of Tokyo
Today I went to a cafe with a treehouse just a minute walk from metro Hiroo station in Tokyo.
Hiroo
Hiroo is known as an upscale residential area.
There are many foreign embassies like France , Switzerland, Norway, Germany, EU and 50-60 more.
It is close to Roppongi, Nishiazabu, and Ebisu, and many foreign residents live here.
Cafe Les Grands Arbres
The first and second floors are used as a flower store called “Fleur Univesaire.”
And the third floor and the rooftop are used as a cafe, Les Grands Arbres.
The tall Machilus thunbergii tree and the treehouse are the symbols of this cafe.
From the second floor, you can go out to the treehouse.

You can also climb the steep stairs to the treehouse from outside too.
The third and fourth floor rooftops have seating for about 20 people each.
Both of them can see the green of Machilus thunbergii tree and sunlight, making it hard to believe that you are in the middle of Tokyo.
I enjoyed strawberry pancake and iced coffee.
The pancake iced coffee set price was 1050 yen(10.5 dollars)
This cafe has the concept of using only natural ingredients , so it’s very healthy.
The interior is small but very comfortable.
The treehouse has a space for one person and a small table.
How about a cafe with a treehouse for your Tokyo memories?
From Tokyo Station, take the Marunouchi Subway Line to Kasumigaseki Station, transfer to the Hibiya Line, and go to Hiroo Station. The total time is 15 minutes and 170 yen( 1.7 dollars).
