‘Early Spring footages in KINUTA park’
KINUTA park is the huge city park in Tokyo. It was built 1940 , as the anniversary of the imperial year 2600th. It’s basically the green area and used as the evacuation area during the WW2. It’s converted as the golf course after the war , then changed as the city park 1966.
The area is big and has many facilities like below.
1: cycling course
2: museum
3: rose garden and other flower garden
4: baseball field
5: football field
6: athletic field
7: museum
8: family grass area ( it’s huge )
9: food stalls
I came across the birds are singing in the plum blossoms. It’s the typical combo of the early spring in Japan, depicted in the pictures and woodblock prints many times from the ancient age .
The combination of nature and culture is the typical Japanese style.
This park is also one of the most popular cherry blossom spots in Tokyo.
