Okutama restaurant covered by flowers
I was passing by a restaurant that had just opened in Okutama.
When a restaurant opens, it is common for suppliers and vendors to send flowers to celebrate the restaurant opening.
This is ‘Okutama’s Kitchen’ a handmade bento and side dish restaurant.
Sunflowers
Because of it’s summer now , the centerpiece of the celebration flowers are sunflowers.
If you come to Japan and see flowers all over the front of the restaurant, it has just opened.
Wasabi ( horse radish) soft serve ice cream
I bought a wasabi ( horse radish) soft serve ice cream here!
The spicy taste of the wasabi melded with the sweetness of the soft serve ice cream.
It’s an unique combination.
