‘ GREEN HOUSE in SHINJUKU GYOEN PARK’
If you come to Japan in cold winter, I recommend you visit the greenhouse in SHINJUKU GYOEN PARK.
It’s in the north part of the park , next to the FRENCH GARDEN .
It’s founded 1872 as a imperial plants cultivation facility, now it’s renovated as a big , warm and beautiful green house.
The temperature is always kept 25 ℃ inside , very comfortable in winter. If you wear a coat , you had better take it off , because it’s too warm .
There are 2700 tropical, semitropical plants and plants of warm area of Japan, like OGASAWARA islands.
If you pay the entrance fee for SHINJUKU GYOEN PARK , green house is included.
There is a small waterfall and stream, you can hear very relaxing sounds here .
SHINJUKU GYOEN PARK is 10 minutes walk from SHINJUKU station , there are
1:Two Japanese gardens
( big and small)
2: English garden
3: French garden

You will see the winter flowers like lilies and late colorful leaves outside.
