Hamarikyu Garden
I went to Hamarikyu Garden.
This place was built in 1654 as a samurai residence.
Later, it was furnished as a villa for the Tokugawa Shoguns.
Falconry
The garden is beautifully landscaped, and it seems that falconry was enjoyed here.
After the feudal era ended, it became a detached palace of the Emperor’s family in 1870.
It also became a place to invite foreign national guests.
Tea house
Now it is a garden of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government.
It is a popular garden for people with a variety of flowers in bloom in each season.
Right now, cherry blossoms and canola blossoms are in bloom.
These contrast strikingly with the skyscrapers on the side.
The reflection of the buildings in the pond adds to the beauty of the garden.
