‘SUMIDA PARK, the Oasis in between SENSOJI ASAKUSA and Tokyo Skytree’
This is SUMIDA park east side of SUMIDA river on the half way from SENSOJI temple to Tokyo Skytree 18 minutes walk .
There is a cute Japanese garden with pond .
I saw many birds are resting and enjoying here .
The back scenery is Tokyo Skytree, the good contrast with traditional Japan and modern Japan.
Also there is a USHIJIMA ( literally means Ox island)shrine which is the local God of Tokyo Skytree area .
It’s founded 859, the symbol of this local area has been respected local powerful family . The guardian status in front of the shrine is Oxen shape . ( not lion)
You can touch the’NADEUSHI’ (pet-able ox) which it cures our bad body part diseases .
You can eat , drink and shop at MIZUMACHI( water town ) merchandise area .
I recommend you drop here and enjoy the dynamic and ancient scenery both . It’s the pleasure of visiting Tokyo！
