Hi I’m Nobu, I like traveling overseas and in Japan, visited 25 countries!
I’m a National Government Licensed Guide Interpreter of English for 8 years.
For the people who are interested in and planning trip to Japan ,
I show you hidden local information which you have never seen and heard of through books and ordinary site!
You will find unexpected fun through my articles!
Our itineraries are below.
Tokyo Station
Opened in 1872. The current building was constructed in 1914.
Although Tokyo is the most advanced city in Japan, it is the most retro station in Japan.
Harajuku,Cat Cafe
We enjoyed a cat cafe in Harajuku.
980 yen for 30 minutes, all-you-can-drink.
Bait is 100 yen and many cats gather around when you have food.
Meiji Shrine
The largest Shinto shrine in Tokyo.
The torii gate at the entrance is a landmark.
It’s surrounded by 100000 big trees , very quiet.
Japanese irises in the inner garden
The inner garden was a gift from Emperor Meiji to the Empress.
The Japanese irises are blooming beautifully!
Bonsai
We can see Bonsai, the miniature potted trees here.
These are well trimmed.
Lunch
We had lunch at the restaurant in Meiji shrine.
We enjoyed Katsu ( fried pork)curry!
Yummy!
Takeshita Street
A trendy street for young people.
Always full of elementary and junior high school students.
Rainbow-colored cotton candy
This is one of the most popular sweets in Takeshita street!
It’s 1000 yen but huge!
Crepe
Crape is the popular sweets here in Takeshita street too.
The history is longer than cotton candy!
Togo Shrine
This is a quiet shrine just 1 minute walk from Takeshita street.
The Japanese garden is very beautiful and has a pond with many Koi fish!
Uraharajuku
Ura-Harajuku is a high teen ager town with many hip hop style stores!
We found ET here!
Omotesando Street
The main street leading to Meiji Shrine.
Both sides are lined with famous brands from all over the world.
Memories Yokocho( Alley)
This narrow street is filled with tiny restaurants.
It’s started after WW 2 as a black market.
The atmosphere is still as it was built.
Godzilla Head
We visited Godzilla Head and enjoyed the roars of him.
He roars every 1 hour just!
Golden Gai bars town
There are 250 tiny bars this area.
It’s started as a black market after WW2.
The system is you pay the seat fee( 1000 yen) and pay at each glass!
Hanazono Shrine
This is a beautiful shrine in Shinjuku.
There are many Torii gates!
Ramen
Finally we enjoyed early dinner Ramen at YOKOHAMAKE-KEI ramen restaurant!
It’s a mix broth of soy source and park bones.
It’s very good!!
