Lake Saiko of Mt.Fuji
I went to the Juhyo( frozen)Festival at Lake Saiko, one of the Fuji Five Lakes.
Lake Saiko is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and has an impressive quiet atmosphere surrounded by forest.
Juhyo(frozen)festival of Lake Saiko
I saw the Juhyo( frozen ) Festival held every year during the cold season in the Wild Bird Forest Park here.
The area around Lake Saiko is about 1,000 meters above sea level, so the ice doesn’t melt easily because the temperature doesn’t rise.
It was beautiful to see the ice against the backdrop of Mt.Fuji!
View of Mt.Fuji over lake Saiko
The atmosphere around Lake Saiko is very quiet and serene, different from that of Lake Kawaguchiko.
Why don’t you come next year?
You can see different atmosphere from other part of Mt.Fuji.
I’m Nobu, one heart enjoy together!!!
