Hayakuhiro waterfall
Today I went to Hyakuhiro waterfall in Okutama Town.
It has been cold recently, and even in Tokyo, the maximum temperature has been 7-8℃ and the minimum temperature has been minus on some days.
Since the temperature in Okutama is always 3-5℃ cooler than in Tokyo, I thought the waterfall might be frozen.
I took a bus from Okutama Station and started climbing from the Kawanoribashi trailhead.
Small waterfalls
There were a number of small waterfalls along the way.
They were quite icy and we could see icicles repeatedly.
Hyakuhiro waterfall is the largest waterfall in Tokyo at 40 m high.
Icefall
Today I was able to see a great view of the icefall.
Now is the coldest time of the year in Japan.
This is the best time of the year to see this spectacular sight.
We hope you will try it too.
You can see another aspect of Tokyo!
I’m Nobu, one heart enjoy together!!!
