Illuminations
There are many illuminations in Tokyo from November to January.
I think you want to see as many illuminations as possible.
But it’s hard to see so many illuminations when you only have a limited time.
Today, I show you two illuminations in Roppongi.
Tokyo Midtown
The first one is the illumination of Tokyo Midtown.
There are trees lining the streets surrounding Tokyo Midtown.
And these are decorated with beautiful champagne gold illuminations.
The skating rink area is decorated with a different concept every year.
A lot of people enjoy taking pictures.
Tokyo Midtown is a complex which is from 2007.
It has a hotel, art museum, Japanese garden, movie theater, and 60 restaurants and stores.
There are many things to do during the day, but the illumination is also wonderful.
So please come and enjoy it.
Roppongi Hills
Once you’ve enjoyed the illumination of Tokyo Midtown, it’s time to head to Roppongi Hills.
After passing through the intersection of Roppongi and walking for about 10 minutes, you will come to Roppongi Hills.
Next to Roppongi Hills is Keyaki-zka Street, which is beautifully illuminated.
The illumination here is white and silver, like snow.
Roppongi Hills opened 2003.
It is a complex of restaurants, stores, museums, event spaces, cinemas, schools, and a Japanese garden.
And it is always crowded with people.
The illumination is also very impressive.
Tokyo Midtown and Roppongi Hills are great places to enjoy the illuminations!!
