‘Mt.Fuji and the Moss pink festival’
I visited the Moss pink festival at MOTOSU lake near Mt.Fuji.
MOTOSU lake is one of the 5 lakes the skirt of Mt.Fuji.
It’s the third big lake , the deepest 121m and the clearest, the transparency is 12m below.
The scenery of Mt.Fuji from MOTOSU lake is depicted at the behind of 1000 yen bill .
The moss pink festival is from 17th April to the end of May.
I visited several Moss pink festivals in Japan, this place is with the fantastic view of Mt.Fuji, very nice!
It takes 3 hours by bus from Shinjuku, Tokyo , 2450 yen( 24.5 dollars) one way .
The entrance fee is 800yen ( 8 dollars) .
