Meigetsuin temple
I went to Meigetsuin Temple in Kamakura.
It is a temple of the Rinzai sect, founded in 1160.
In June, 3,000 hydrangeas bloom in the temple grounds.
Its beautiful blue color is called “Myogetsuin Blue” and is very famous.
The entrance fee is 500 yen( 3 dollars).
Back garden
There is a back garden behind the hall.
There are Japanese irises field and blooming beautifully !
Period
I saw the hydrangeas and the Japanese iirises( back garden) on June 8, and it will be in full bloom for another 7-10 days.
If you are in Japan and your schedule permits, please visit there.
I think you will see a different beauty from the cherry blossoms in Japan.
I’m Nobu, one heart enjoy together!!!
