Noboribetsu Onsen’s Jigokudani (Hell Valley) is home to nine different types of various springs, and is a origin of unique feature of Noboribetsu Onsen.
Even now, the noisy steam gushing out from the springs looks just like hell.
The Jigokudani has a wooden boardwalk, which can be explored easily in 15 to 20 minutes.

At the entrance of Noboribetsu Onsen, there is a geyser in the park surrounded by a cute devil statue and a devil’s pole where you can see the boiling water coming out every 50 minutes with a violent steam and noise.
