Sensoji temple in Asakusa
I visited Sensoji temple in Asakusa to see cherry blossoms!
It’s founded AD 628, 2 fishermen caught the gold KANNON Buddha statue while fishing in the SUMIDA river nearby.
They dedicated here and enshrined.
It’s always lively and pleasant atmosphere by many people.

Thunder gate
The entrance is Thunder gate.
There is no cherry tree around here.
You walk through Nakamise street for a while, reach the crossing with Denpoindori street.

You can see the beautiful cherry blossoms there.
You can take nice photos with 5 storied pagoda and cherry blossoms from there!
There are lined cherry blossoms on the left side of the street .
Nioumon gate
If you arrive next gate Nioumon , there is a pretty weeping cherry tree on the right side front of the gate.
Many people enjoy taking photos with weeping cherry blossoms and the gate.
Precinct
In the precinct, there are many cherry blossoms on the left side of the main hall.
You can take nice photos with temple buildings , pagoda and cherry blossoms!
Asakusa temple
Then I recommend you go to Asakusa shrine in the right side of the precinct.Also there are cherry blossoms on the left side in in front of the shrine.
