Kiyomizu Temple
I went to Kiyomizu Temple in Kyoto.
This temple was founded in 778.
It is a temple of the Northern Hosso sect in Buddhism.
Makuranososhi book
In 1994, it was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with 16 other temples and shrines in Kyoto.
It is noted that the temple was already very popular and crowded with people as early as the 8th century book Makuranososhi.
The temple is built on a cliff at the foot of the Higashiyama mountains in Kyoto.
And it is constructed by the combination of woods , without using a single nail.
Weeping cherry blossoms
On this day, weeping cherry trees were in beautiful bloom.
It takes 25 minutes on foot from Kawaramachi Station on the Hankyu Line to get here.
Shopping street
There are many stores, restaurants, and cafes along the way, so you will never get bored.
