Cherry blossoms at Kamogawa River, Kyoto
I went to see cherry blossoms on the Kamo River in Kyoto.
The Kamo River of Kyoto
The two rivers meet at Sanjo Demachiyanagi, coming from the mountains in the north of Kyoto.
Meeting point
Around the meeting point, paving stones have been built to allow people to cross the river.
The whole meeting area is providing a good view of the north and south .
It is a place of recreation and relaxation for the citizens.
There are many families and friends picnicking here.
Cherry blossoms
From the Kamo Ohashi Bridge, there are rows of cherry blossom trees along both the northern and southern banks of the river.
These are spectacular and very beautiful.
Both banks of the Kamo River are promenades, so you can take a leisurely stroll south toward Kyoto Station.
It is also very pleasant to rent a bicycle and ride along the Kamo River.
A 30-minute walk downstream will take you to the Sanjo Ohashi Bridge.
Starbucks
There is a Starbucks there on the west bank .
It is where you can see the west side of the river from there.
From the window seat, you can see couples, friends, and families are strolling leisurely along the riverbank.

You will feel the quiet and pleasant atmosphere here.
