‘SHINJUKU GYOEN PARK’
Shinjuku gyoen park is located 10 minutes walk from Shinjuku station .
It was a SAMURAI residence in feudal age, converted as imperial botanical garden 1879. Now it’s open for public. There are 1300 cherry trees, very famous for HANAMI( cherry blossom viewing) .
There are 2 Japanese gardens , French garden , English garden and greenhouse too. In the Japanese gardens and the north west part area there are many MOMIJI( Japanese maple) trees , very beautiful during colorful leaves season.
I enjoyed them this Xmas week! It’s one of the latest colorful leaves spots in Tokyo.
There are Japanese style cafes , rest areas and Starbucks too.
It’s very close to Shinjuku crazy entertainment area , completely opposite atmosphere.
The entrance fee is 500yen ( 5 dollars). If you’re tired of crazy Shinjuku, want to hear the birds singing, check out here!!
I’m Nobu, one heart enjoy together!!!
